The following passage provides information on two topics:
- The steps necessary to log in to the web management page of a router.
- What actions to take if the web management page cannot be accessed.
1.The steps necessary to log in to the web management page of a router.
Step 1:
Establish a Connection Between Your Device and the TP-Link Router To establish a connection, you may use an Ethernet cable or connect wirelessly using the network name (SSID) and password printed on the router’s bottom label.
Step 2:
Access the Router’s Web Management Page We recommend using Firefox, Chrome, or Edge to access the router’s web management page. Type http://tplinkwifi.net into the address bar and press Enter.
Step 3:
Enable Access to the Web GUI To allow access, click on the ‘Privacy error’ page and select either “Proceed to tplinkwifi.net (unsafe)” or “Proceed to 192.168.0.1 (unsafe)” under Advanced settings. A warning message may appear due to the browser requiring a signed certificate, but please don’t worry about it. The reason why browsers recognize tplinkwifi.net as “Not secure” is that the certificate is self-signed and not recognized by authoritative CAs. Rest assured that the connection between your browser and the tplinkwifi.net server is secure.
Note: If you require more information about the self-signed certificate and unsecure notice, please refer to the FAQ section on “Why is TP-Link HTTPS web interface detected as unsecure by some web browsers?”

Step 4:
Set a Password for the Admin Account It is essential to set a secure password for the administrator account as required.
2.What actions to take if the web management page cannot be accessed.
If you experience issues after entering the URL and pressing ‘enter’, such as seeing only one web page titled ‘Connect to a network’ and clicking the ‘connect’ button does not resolve the issue, try the following methods:
- Attempt to log in on the Tether app.
- Switch to an alternative web browser.
- Clear your browser’s cache or use Incognito mode.
- Refer to the FAQ for further guidance. Try accessing the router’s LAN IP, such as http://192.168.0.1, instead of http://tplinkwifi.net.
