The built-in internal web server does not require internet connectivity, however, it necessitates a wired or wireless connection to your device. The following steps will guide you through the process of logging in to your Speedefy router login:
- Connect your computer or mobile device to your router’s network.
For a wired connection, attach your computer to the router’s LAN port with an Ethernet cable. Ensure that the TCP/IP protocol is set to Obtain an IP address automatically mode on your computer.
For a wireless connection, locate the SSID (Network Name) on the label underneath the router. Proceed by clicking the network icon on your computer or accessing the WiFi settings on your smart device and select the SSID to join the network. - Open a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your router’s network. Popular web browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge.
- Type http://www.speedefywifi.com or 192.168.3.1 into your web browser’s address bar.
- Press Enter or click Search. It is possible that your browser will prompt you that the connection is not secure. Verify that the web address entered is correct and proceed to the router login window.
- In the router login window, input your login password. In case you are setting up the router for the first time, there is no requirement to enter the login password. After completing the quick setup, you will need to input the login password you have previously set. Note that entries are case-sensitive.

- Launch the Speedy WiFi App.
- From the Tools page, select the Login Password option.
- Enter your old login password, then enter the new login password and confirm it again.
Note: The login password must be between 5-32 characters in length. - Click Save to apply the changes.
Method Two: Via web management page
- Connect your computer or laptop to the WiFi network of your router.
- Open a web browser and enter either http://speedefywifi.com or 192.168.3.1 into the address bar, then press Enter.
- Navigate to System Settings > Login Password.
- Enter your old login password, the new login password, and confirm the new password again.
- Click Save. Note: If you do not wish to have a login password, simply enter the old password and click Save.
