- The Cox router IP is: 192.168.0.1
- The Cox router username is: admin
- The Cox router password is: password
NOTE: Make sure to type the username and password in small letters.
How do I log into my Cox router?
Once you have all the necessary components prepared, the remaining steps are straightforward.
STEP 1 – Open a web browser
STEP 2 – Type 192.168.0.1 into the browser’s URL bar
STEP 3 – Enter the Cox router login details
If the entered IP address is correct, a prompt will appear requesting the router admin username and password.
Type “admin” as the username and password in the password field. Please note that both the username and password are case-sensitive, so be sure to type them in all lowercase letters.
STEP 4 – Click OK and you are logged into the Cox router admin page
After clicking the OK button, you will be redirected to the router admin page.

How to change the Cox router login password?
- Once you have logged in to your Cox router, the first step offered is to change the admin password.
- Simply follow the instructions provided on the page. Enter the current password in the Current password field.
